Volunteering for Cancer Services is rewarding.  We rely on people like you who believe in our mission to provide the best service to cancer survivors and their families.  We offer many different volunteer opportunities and are very flexible with your time commitment.  From helping in our office to being in the community performing fund raising activities or special projects, there are always opportunities to do something amazing.  Click here to see our volunteer spotlight.  Complete the online application or give us a call to begin volunteering!

NEEDED IMMEDIATELY

Front Desk Receptionist  -- We are in need to individuals to answer the phone and greet clients.  Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:  to fill in when needed.

Care Team Members -- We are in need of volunteers who will assist our Patient Advocates by making follow-up calls to clients and, in addition, some of these volunteers will assist clients in the office with wigs, mastectomy supplies, medical supplies, nutritional supplements and maintain the areas that these supplies are kept in. 

Office Support -- We are in need of volunteers to assist with office work - filing, making copies, putting together client folders, sorting laundry, stocking the mastectomy supplies, etc.

Cleaning Equipment Donations-- We are in need of volunteers to clean donations of equipment that we receive (wheelchairs, shower chairs, walkers, etc.).

Laundry -- We are in need of a volunteer to  pick up one to two baskets of laundry each month and return the items cleaned and folded.  The items are mostly head coverings, bed pads and sheets.

Landscape Management -- We need volunteers to come in periodically to maintain the landscaping around our building; this includes trimming the bushes, weeding the beds, spraying weeds in the parking lot and other assorted activities.
