Volunteering for Cancer Services is rewarding. We rely on people like you who believe in our mission to provide the best service to cancer survivors and their families. We offer many different volunteer opportunities and are very flexible with your time commitment. From helping in our office to being in the community performing fund raising activities or special projects, there are always opportunities to do something amazing. NEEDED IMMEDIATELY
Boutique Manager -- Volunteer to come in once a week to inventory and data enter weekly Cancer Survivor boutique sales and purchases. Requires data entry skills.
Receptionist -- Volunteer to answer phones and greet clients needed to work the Tuesday morning shift from
9 am -- 12:00 PM.Today we are in particular need of volunteers to assist in these areas:
Care Team Members -- We are starting up a new team of volunteers who will assist our Patient Advocates by making follow-up calls to clients and, in addition, some of these volunteers will assist clients in the office with wigs, mastectomy supplies, medical supplies, nutritional supplements and maintain the areas that these supplies are kept in.
Internet Research -- We need volunteers who can assist with internet research into resources our agency can tap into. Can be done at our offices or from home.
Front Desk Volunteers -- These volunteers answer the phone and assist walk-in clients. We have specific shifts (3 - 4 hours) and need a pool of volunteers to contact as fill-in for a scheduled volunteers when they are unable to be here.
Data Entry Volunteers -- Volunteers are needed to data enter into our various support computer applications. Schedule would be flexible within our work hours: 9-5 Monday through Friday.
